We make an effort to ship your orders as quickly as possible. Most orders will be shipped out within 48 hours however, our minimum shipping time is 0 - 10 days. Currently, all orders (excluding special or bulk orders) are shipped from Virginia. You will receive a tracking number for your order via email when it is shipped. Usually, the delivery of the order is between 5 - 7 days, once your order is shipped.

We have a 100% satisfaction guaranteed policy and we stand behind every product we sell. - If you have received a broken candle, you can return it for a replacement or refund (please provide a picture of your item when requesting a return). - If you are not satisfied with your ER Home product, you can return it for a replacement or refund. - Returns are accepted at the discretion of Ethnic Roots at any time within 15 days of receipt of the order. - To initiate a return or for more details you can email us on info@ethnic-roots.com. - All returns will be credited back to the original form of payment minus shipping costs. - Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

We offer free pickup option from a designated pick-up point for local customers in Northern Virginia for a limited time. Details will be available at checkout. Just select "Pickup from Pick-Up Point from the drop down at the time checkout. Please wait for an email notification confirming that your order is ready for pick-up. We will coordinate a pick up time with you before you come to pick up your order. Your ID and Order confirmation email will be required at the time of pick-up

Every candle that we create is unique and needs some care for it to give you the best performance. To enhance your experience please follow the candle care & safety instructions. - When you light your candle for the first time allow the candle to create an even pool around the diameter of your candle. It is best to burn your candle 2 to 3 hours in order to prevent a memory ring. However do not burn over 4 hours at a time. - Each time you want to burn your candle, start by trimming the wick to between 1/8 and 1/4 inches long. You can use scissors, nail clippers , or our wick trimmer (coming soon) but no matter what you do, always trim, every single time. - Wooden wicks can be tricky to burn, tilt the candle and burn the wooden wick evenly across with a lighter. The Candle might take a few tries to burn properly and create an even flame. - Never leave a lit candle unattended and only burn on a fire resistance surface. - Never extinguish candles with water, and be sure that the candle is completely extinguished before leaving the room. - Do not burn a candle all the way down, for safety discontinue use when wax ½ an inch left in the container.​ - Keep the wax pool free of wick trimmings. - Keep out of reach from Children and Pets. - Keep away from drafts, vents and fans.

While paraffin wax is refined from crude oil, soy wax is made from soybeans- a completely renewable resource grown here in the US. Compared to paraffin, soy wax burns cleaner with no petrol-carbon soot. This makes soy wax candles non toxic. Soy wax also burns slower than paraffin, so soy wax candles also last longer.

The gentle crackle and unique flicker of wood wick candles make for a super cozy ambience, but they can be a little tricky to burn if you're not used to them. Tilt you candle and use a candle lighter to burn the wick across evenly. To ensure an even burn, light the wick across the candle as opposed to at only one end. Let the wick burn till there is an even pool till the edge of the candle. For optimal burn, keep your wood wick trimmed to about ⅛”, and clean off any burnt wood from previous use.

- Hand wash with gentle detergent, dry immediately with soft cloth - Avoid any detergent with lemon or other acidic agents - Do not soak, even in plain water, or leave unwashed overnight - Do not use abrasive cleaners, steel wool or scouring pads that can scratch and dull metal surfaces
